Breast Exams | Pelvic Exams | Hammond We provide comprehensive gynecologic care to women of all ages. As a full-service practice, we strive to develop long-lasting relationships with our patients to help guide them through the major stages of their reproductive life, along with providing routine care to prevent and treat a wide range of conditions. Our doctors and nurse are fully trained and experienced to handle many gynecologic conditions and treat each patient with the personalized care they deserve for their individual issues.

Many of our patients have been with us since early adulthood - from their first gynecological exam, to pregnancy, menopause and more. We find that many women are more comfortable working with the same doctor throughout these important life stages. Our doctors provide effective, nurturing care for all patients at each one of their visits. Each patient is given individualized attention and will have all of their questions and concerns answered by one of our experienced doctors or nurses.

Many of our teenage patients have never received gynecologic care before, and may be anxious or nervous about their first visit. We take extra time to speak with these patients before their exam and explain what is involved in gynecologic care. We will gladly answer any questions they may have and do anything we can to ease their anxiety.

Routine Care and Screening

Routine gynecologic care is the most effective protection against disease, infection and other abnormalities. Yearly pelvic exams are recommended for all women who are sexually active or over the age of 18. When performed with Pap smears, these exams can help screen for signs of HPV, cervical cancer and many other conditions. Early detection and treatment can help prevent permanent damage and are often the best protection against any gynecologic problems.

Regular screenings are especially important as women age, since they become more susceptible to cervical cancer, breast cancer, osteoporosis and more. We provide extensive screening procedures for women of all ages to help detect any problems as soon as possible. More frequent screenings are usually recommended for our older patients to ensure early detection. Our doctors will also educate patients on how to keep themselves healthy at home, by performing breast self-exams and using effective birth control.

Diagnostic Tests

Breast Exams | Pelvic Exams | Hammond We can perform nearly any needed tests at our in-office laboratory that takes much of the hassle out of medical testing for our patients. We can perform ultrasounds, sonograms, blood tests, urodynamics and more at our state-of-the-art facilities. Our staff is fully trained and experienced to perform these diagnostic tests, and results are available much faster than when using an outside lab.
